We are currently not set up to take payments by phone.  We do offer Online Payments at www.americu.com, pay by mail, or automatic drafting from your account monthly.  A representative can assist you making an online payment, please call 800-979-9994.

My payment was supposed to come out on the 1st or 5th it did not come out until the 8th, am I going to have to pay a fee?

 

No, your payment was received during your standard grace period, no fees will be assessed.  Your next monthly payment will be debited on the 5th business day of the month.

Why did you sell my loan?

 

Your loan was not sold, it is still being serviced by AmeriCU Mortgage.  In order to better serve you we moved our servicing area to our new administrative office.  Long term we feel this will provide better member service and allow us to offer more options.

I received an Annual Escrow Account Disclosure Statement , what does this mean?

 

Due to the transfer from the New Jersey office to our administrative office in Michigan, we were required to disclose your escrow activity and balance at the time of the transfer.  This is strictly for informational purposes, your escrow account has not been reanalyzed at this time and your payment remains the same.

I am having difficulty making my payment online.

 

Try retyping in the webpage address www.americu.com, do not use a previously saved bookmark.  Once you are on the webpage click the link marked Members, then click on Account Administration on the left side of the page.  Once you are there you will need to register as a new user.  If you are still having difficulty or if you have additional questions please call 800-979-9994.

What are the fees for an online payment?

 

For the first 5 days of the month there is NO fee to make an online payment.  The 6th through the 10th of the month there is a $5 fee and after the 10th the fee is $15.

Towne Mortgage is the parent company for AmeriCU Mortgage and we share administrative offices.  Some of the documents that you have received may say Towne Mortgage for various reasons.  Please be assured your mortgage is still being serviced by AmeriCU mortgage.
