As your community lender, we realize that taking action is a critical part of community enrichment. We’ve partnered with several non-profit organizations in honor of our commitment to that value. We don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk. We’re invested in the success of our communities and we’re relentless in our efforts to protect that investment.

AmeriCU has partnered with various children’s hospitals across the U.S. to provide financial assistance to families with chronically or critically ill or injured children through our Mortgage/Rental Assistance Program. We are proud to offer families struggling with the emotional and financial burden of a critically ill or injured child a sense of relief during an incredibly difficult time.

Mortgage/Rental Assistance Program– provides monthly payment assistance to parents/guardians with critically ill or injured children, allowing them to spend precious time together. Providing a small measure of relief for parents/guardians who are struggling to cope with both the emotional and financial difficulties that comes with caring for a critically ill or injured child.

The Methodist Children’s Home Society strives to meet the needs of neglected and abused children by providing housing, educational, clinical and therapeutic services. Through their efforts, Michigan’s most fragile children are introduced to a loving, comfortable and safe environment. They encourage children to reach their full potential by providing them with the resources they need to succeed. Visit http://www.mchsmi.org to learn more.

Our employees have taken part in an array of company-sponsored volunteer opportunities with the Methodist Children’s Home Society in 2016, including an AmeriCU Sponsored Detroit Tigers Outing, a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Event, a Holiday Celebration Party and Secret Santa Grant-A-Wish Program.

While many of these children are happy just to receive basic necessities, we believe providing them with every opportunity to enjoy their childhood is equally valuable. Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders; here at AmeriCU, we hope to inspire these children to reach their full potential through our efforts.
