Andrew Smith

Mr. Andrew Smith serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Towne Mortgage Company. He serves on the board at American Community Homes as a stakeholder and as CEO. Andrew is a veteran in the financial services industry. He has more than 25 years of experience in fixed income markets and has modeled, traded and constructed portfolios of RMBS and CMBS over that time. He leads Towne’s Executive Committee along with the Chairman and is a member of the Residential Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association (RESBOG).

Prior to joining American Community Homes, Andrew was the CEO at BroadStreet Capital Partners. Here, Andrew set up more than 15 investment vehicles and raised over $1.6 billion in equity and $5.5 billion in debt. While at BroadStreet, Andrew was on the Executive Committee and headed Advisory Business, which involved litigation, advice and balance sheet restructuring primarily focused on mortgages and their derivatives. Prior to working with BroadStreet, he was the Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Investment Committee for Republic National Bank of New York, with an active book of US mortgages over $7.5 billion.

Andrew has extensive modeling and risk management experience in the mortgage industry. He was a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the University of Oxford and has a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Andrew is passionate about affordable housing and works diligently to make it more accessible. He is a wine aficionado and, in his free time, an avid sailor. He has competed in various regattas over the past two decades.

Dale LeFebvre

Mr. Dale LeFebvre is the Chairman of Towne Mortgage Company. Dale serves on the Board at American Community Homes as Chairman and as a stakeholder in the company. He leads Towne’s Executive Committee along with the CEO.  Dale is also the founder and Chairman of 3.5.7.11, a holding company that creates value for technology driven companies through the proprietary methodology of Transformational Investing™.  Dale has managed and raised more than $1 billion in institutional capital.  The current 3.5.7.11 portfolio generates more than $300 million with operations in 11 states and territories and now employs more than 1,600 people.  He is an alumnus of McKinsey & Company and is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including a Bell Labs Fellowship, a Harvard Law Traphagen and the 2006 Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellowship. He also holds multiple patents.

An engaged participant in his community, Dale serves on several boards including the Abraham Lincoln National Council of Ford’s Theater Society, the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the University of the Virgin Islands Foundation, where he has endowed a fellowship.  He is also an emeritus board member of the National Urban League.  Dale is Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee’s National Finance Committee and a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.

Dale holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School as well as Harvard Law School and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts.

A passionate food enthusiast, Dale has cooked for various restaurateurs, oenophiles, celebrities and the President of the United States.  He is a native of Beaumont, Texas and a resident of the U.S. Virgin Islands. He currently splits his time between the Virgin Islands and Washington, D.C.

Mr. Phillip Kukafka is the Director of Capital Markets for Towne Mortgage.

Prior to working with Towne, Phillip worked for The Money Source (TMS) and was an integral part of increasing business from $20 million per month to $500 million per month. While at TMS, he was involved in all aspects of the company including capital markets, operations, implementing risk management procedures, securitization, hedging strategies, sales and loan purchasing.

Prior to working at TMS, he ran the capital markets team at MortgageIT, having sold over $150 billion in mortgage loans to various Wall Street banks. He was also a member of the executive team that assisted in taking MortgageIT public. Phillip is a CPA and has worked at various public accounting firms. He graduated from Fredonia State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1988.

Stephanie O’Harris

Ms. Stephanie O’Harris is the Director of Servicing at Towne Mortgage Company. She has been with Towne since 2007, serving as Accounting Manager before transitioning to her current role in 2013.

She is responsible for managing the operations of the Servicing Department, which includes customer service, investor and custodial accounting, escrows, payment application, 203K processing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, property preservation and claims processing. Most recently, Stephanie served as project manager for a successful servicing platform system conversion.

Stephanie has worked in mortgage banking and servicing for 26 years. Throughout her career, she has held management roles for the National Bank of Detroit and ABN AMRO Mortgage Group.

Dan Calcaterra

Mr. Daniel Calcaterra is the Director of Retail Sales at Towne Mortgage Company. Daniel serves on Towne’s Executive Committee.

Daniel has been in the mortgage banking and real estate finance industry for over 25 years. He has held numerous positions at Towne including Branch Manager, Production Manager and Vice President of Sales. As a loan officer, his goal is simple: provide the information borrowers need to make educated decisions by consulting and providing options. Daniel works diligently to ensure borrowers are comfortable with the decisions they are making.

Daniel has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Detroit and is a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking, achieving the designation of Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP). He is an alumnus of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Future Leaders program. He was past president of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA) and served on a number of committees for the same. Daniel also holds the MBA Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) Designation.

Kim Alexander

Ms. Kim Alexander is the Director of Operations for Towne Mortgage Company. Kim has been in the mortgage industry for more than 18 years, 15 of which have been with Towne.

Kim is a member of Towne’s senior management team and is responsible for managing operations as well as a segregated area of the compliance department. She studied business at the University of Michigan and holds a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation and a Certified Residential Originator (CRO) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).

She is a past president of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA) and is an active member of the MBA, several regional credit union support organizations and has served on various local and national committees. She has completed several courses throughout her career, including the MBA’s School of Mortgage Banking courses I and II. Kim is an avid supporter of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Mark Bigelow

Mr. Mark Bigelow is the Director of Sales for AmeriCU. AmeriCU, a division of Towne Mortgage Company, provides mortgage services exclusively to credit unions.

He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA). Mark is a senior management professional with more than 20 years of experience in operations and sales within the lending industry, specializing in residential mortgages. At AmeriCU, Mark is responsible for the recruitment, development and management of loan officers at all AmeriCU Mortgage sites.

Prior to working with AmeriCU, Mark was a managing member of DM Management Services, LLC DBA, where he established a management service company that simplified mitigation processes between consumers and realtors when negotiating with mortgage servicers. Mark is a graduate of Michigan State University.

Mr. Phillip Kukafka is the Director of Capital Markets for Towne Mortgage.

Raina Shakdher

Ms. Raina Shakdher is the Vice President and Director of Corporate Strategy at Towne Mortgage Company. She has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, transaction structuring, taxation, enterprise risk management, process integration and internal control.

Raina is responsible for working with executive management to promote company growth through strategic partnerships as well as the integration of newly acquired companies. She works closely with the Operations, Financing, Servicing, Sales and Marketing departments with a primary focus on project management processes, execution and oversight.

Prior to working with Towne, Raina was the Chief Financial Officer at the BroadStreet Group of Companies, where she was responsible for the firm’s finance and operations including tax and strategic planning, corporate governance, infrastructure management and compliance activities. While at BroadStreet, she was a member of the Executive Committee and assisted in the structuring of multiple investment vehicles with over $1 billion in equity and $5.5 billion in debt. Additionally, she was a principal in their client advisory division, which facilitated restructuring of balance sheets.

Prior to joining BroadStreet, she worked in media planning for luxury brands at The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. Raina has been a principal of Maxxis Group, an Indian government-approved retail and distribution platform for luxury brands since 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Richard Walkowski

Mr. Richard Walkowski is the Chief Financial Officer of Towne Mortgage Company. He has spent over a decade in the residential real estate and mortgage industry.

Before coming to Towne, Richard did financial and operations consulting for Garden Fresh Gourmet, where he drove improvements in one of their divisions by prioritizing enhancements to the product lineup, process and equipment. Richard also directed financial reporting for REDICO, LLC, where he assisted the company as it worked its way through financial crisis and transitioned the firm’s various partnerships to a new accounting system.

As Vice President at Crosswinds National, he directed the financial and market analysis of 30 projects in seven states and evaluated the feasibility of potential deals. Richard was an Area Vice President at Pulte Homes, where he managed strategic planning and feasibility studies for the Great Lakes Region. He gained brand, product and international financial experience at General Motors in a variety of positions before being recruited to the real estate industry. Richard began his career with Ernst and Young. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Richard has an MBA with Distinction and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Pam Trudeau

Ms. Pamela Trudeau is the Chief Credit Officer and Director of Underwriting at Towne Mortgage Company. Pam serves on Towne’s Executive Committee.

She has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, primarily focused on underwriting and risk management. She has held management roles in various companies for the past 24 years and employed with Towne Mortgage Company for the past 16 years.

She holds industry certifications as an FHA Delegated Underwriter, a VA Automatic Approved Underwriter and a VA Certified LAPP Reviewer. She has participated in various industry work groups in conjunction with The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Fannie Mae and the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA).

Pam is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) School of Mortgage Banking and holds the MBA Certified Mortgage Bankers (CMB) Designation.

Gregory Walker

Mr. Gregory Walker serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Towne Mortgage Company.

Gregory also serves as Secretary and General Counsel to American Community Homes. He is responsible for the Quality Control and Licensing departments. Prior to joining Towne, Gregory was Senior Internal Counsel at UBS AG, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse as well as a practicing attorney at the law firms of Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Brown & Wood.

Gregory is a graduate of Fordham University’s School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review. He also attended Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Gregory is a recognized expert in securities law and finance, topics on which he regularly speaks before industry panels and trade groups. He is an avid reader of history.

Adam Salti

Mr. Adam Salti is the Director of Correspondent Lending for ACH Trust, a wholly owned subsidiary of Towne Mortgage Company. He is a mortgage industry veteran with more than 15 years of lending experience and over 20 years in the finance industry.

Prior to joining American Community Homes Trust, he was a principal at Associated Mortgage Bankers, Inc., a Melville, New York based multi-state mortgage lender. There, he grew the forward retail lending platform from under $50 million to approximately $500 million in annual production. In addition, he started and built the HECM (reverse) division into a nationally recognized industry leader. After starting the HECM platform, he sold the division to American Advisors Group in 2014, who is the industry’s current market share leader.

Prior to joining Associated Mortgage Bankers, Inc., Adam was involved in the finance and sales side of First Fidelity Mortgage Group, a New York based mortgage broker. He was instrumental in growing the company from a two-state, $20 million annual production operation in 2003, to a 20-state, $400 million annual production operation in 2007. Adam has also worked in corporate finance at BNP Paribas as well as Goldstein, Golub and Kessler & Co.

Adam holds an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

Adam Salti

Mr. Adam Salti is the Director of Correspondent Lending for ACH Trust, a wholly owned subsidiary of Towne Mortgage Company. He is a mortgage industry veteran with more than 15 years of lending experience and over 20 years in the finance industry.

Prior to joining American Community Homes Trust, he was a principal at Associated Mortgage Bankers, Inc., a Melville, New York based multi-state mortgage lender. There, he grew the forward retail lending platform from under $50 million to approximately $500 million in annual production. In addition, he started and built the HECM (reverse) division into a nationally recognized industry leader. After starting the HECM platform, he sold the division to American Advisors Group in 2014, who is the industry’s current market share leader.
